![]() That said I do think it should be capable of doing more as the head set is a 5.1 sound system so I looked in the user guide and it states: (Which is better.) Note: Windows (I'm on 8.1 BTW) says this is Bluetooth Stereo when I check to see if the driver is up to date. Looking around some more I saw another device (PX Stereo) that offered 2 channel 16 bit stereo (CD Quality) setting. So I got around to looking and saw it was using a hands free mode (sound, playback, highlighted the device in question, properties, default format) and it was 1 channel 16 bit. Now, I have a game I'm really into (or will be when it releases), which I'm going to need to be able to communicate, and as I used my headset during its beta I realized how off the sound was. ![]() So I have an "old" gaming headset (A Turtle Beach PX5) that I used on last gen consoles and have used it, on some level on my PC, but playing mostly SP games and in my own room a headset isn't often needed.
